This is now the last camera I have changed over. I used to have MPEG cameras and was never really happy with the frame rates or picture quality, So the moral of this story is. Do more research about a CCTV setup before purchasing. Anyway, after must searching, this snippet of information was invaluable, H.264 format cameras have way more compression and so need less network overheads. Since changing over my cameras, To these in entirety, the daytime picture quality and FPS have gone through the roof. Picture quality is crisp and clear, FPS 24-25. Nightime picture quality is as expected, awesome and FPS 10-12. Setting up external monitoring was so simple. I use an iPhone App and took minutes.
A quick note about this seller. Very efficient, polite and professional, if these guys can't answer your question then no one can, a highly organised seller way beyond 5* highly recommended.

This is the second of these cameras purchased from this seller. I was so impressed with the first one I just had to swap another camera. Setup is so easy, from DHL delivering to having the camera attached to the wall and configured was about 20mins.
The day time picture is very clear and I'm getting frame rates of 20+ connected via a powerline adapter. I highly recommend these cameras and also this seller
