Power Over Ethernet - Simplified Wiring & Installation

Use a single network cable for both power supply and video transmission. This allows installation and wiring works to become easier as the hole drilled through the wall can be much smaller as well as causing less interference to your home interior.

Please note: PoE cameras must work in alliance with a PoE NVR or PoE switch in order to be powered by Ethernet cable alone. Otherwise, the camera will still need to be powered by power cord.

Improved Infrared Technology for Better Night Vision

The FI9900EP is equipped with 30 IR LEDs to ensure clear pictures, even in the dark, up to 66ft away (20 metres). Functions such as app push alerts and smart motion detection especially benefit from better night vision: the alerts are more sensitive and relevant, and this advantage is further enhanced by an intuitive app interface for customising your motion sensitivity and alert settings.

Get Alerts When Something Happens

Just like an electronic eye, it can send real-time alerts to your devices when motion or sound is detected, enabling you to master what is happening immediately and avoiding missing something important. With Foscam, you can have round-the-clock peace of mind.

Please note: Real-time captured image alerts can be pushed to your device via a Foscam cloud subscription, otherwise you will receive a real-time text alert push.

Waterproof Shell

BAn IP66 rated aluminium shell allows the FI9900EP to weather through all tough conditions so there’s no need to worry about the working status in bad weather.

Plus, with the optional junction box available to purchase (FAB99), you can store and protect the required cables in a waterproof box without the need to drill large holes at your mounting point.

Multiple Storage Methods

It’s easy to choose the level of storage for your needs.

Record locally to an SD card via the cameras built-in slot or an NVR can be used for when you require larger storage. Foscam Cloud service is also available to safeguard your footage from theft or damage by recording it to a secure Cloud server.
