This can, for example, crucially let you follow and record the action when a motion alert has been triggered - even if an intruder's movements place them outside of the camera’s 100° stationary viewing range.

Intelligent Motion & Sound Detection

Never have to worry about missing a thing. The R4M can provide real-time monitoring and send notifications upon motion or sound detection to your mobile, tablet and email. It also features advanced human detection which help's to provide more relevant alerts

Plus, when used together with Foscam Cloud, you will get the captured image sent directly to your device.

Enhanced Night Vision

The R4M's night vision uses high-intensity IR LEDs that illuminate details in low-light conditions up to 8 metres (26ft) away. Functions such as app push alerts and motion detection especially benefit from better night vision as the alerts will be more sensitive and relevant.

Night vision mode will work automatically based on light change, or can be controlled manually on the Foscam App.

Two-way talk allows you to participate in the moment rather than just watching it and combined with the stunning 4MP video stream, it will feel like you’re in the same room.

Dual-Band WiFi

The R4M is dual-band compatible meaning it can connect to either frequency on your home network, allowing you to optimise the quality of the connection.

2.4GHz band provides coverage at longer ranges but transmits data at slower speeds. The 5GHz band provides lesser coverage but transmits data at faster speeds and offers more channels that are less likely to interfere.
